There are certain phrases that are just not in common usage on the Bayou. Chief among these is "health and safety," which is a foreign concept to most Gremlins, but utterly alien to these boys.

Lightning Bugs violate pretty much every rule of self-preservation ever documented. Faithful and over-zealous acolytes of Wong, they have absorbed all of his destructive instincts and none of his common sense (what little of it there was to go around).

Armed with their Magic Blasty Sticks, they wade into any fray, sending violent pyrotechnics in every direction that slice through armor like a hot knife through butter. The results of these catastrophic explosions are normally as random as the Lightning Bugs aim, but rarely dull.

Having come from such a volatile climate, the Lightning Bugs are better versed than most to weather these blasts and tend to stagger out of their self-made craters, scorched but grinning before going in search of the next target.
